Recessed light options

Hi,

We dont want to put a downlight in our toilets and would rather a globe option similar to the genie globes phillips do. Having trouble working out what the name of the fitting is called that the globes go into. Recessed E27 socket doesn't yield any suppliers.

Any suggestions? We would like it to be recessed into the ceiling as much as possible.
What you're describing IS a downlight
It sounds like you're after a downlight that takes E27 globes? Something like this?

You may find something like this in Australia by searching for E27 downlight. They may be hard to find these days though, as people would generally get an integrated LED kit instead, as it would be smaller.
