Need feedback on coastal style lounge room lighting option

Hi

Our lounge room ceiling is not very high so oyster lights are the go. I want to update the current lights to something like this attached- white metal oyster led

Friend said it looks too 'lacey'. Can I ask peoples opinions? I thought it looked quite coastal. We live near beach and lounge room scheme is mainly white and navy and wood.

Please advise!!
