Bathroom downlight over sink or bench

My builder recommended to place the light above the bench, where you stand. I am worried there might be shadow on my face. Has anyone else experienced this?
It will be, yes.
Ideally, there should be either light bar placed on the wall right above your mirror or a pair of vertical lights placed at the left and right sides of your mirror.
Light above the bench could be just an optional addition and ideally should be placed a little bit behind your head (closer to the center of the bathroom).

Thanks Ardo, they are sort of semi concealed. I think it is only a few millimetres. I see if they can adjust the hinges.
