Budget for lighting - post handover

Hi all,

I’m planning to get the builder to do standard batten lights/minimal downlights and a sparky to come in post handover to do the remainder for a 3x2. As such, I’m trying to figure out how much I’d need to budget for/save.

How much did this cost to do (if you did the same)?

I can’t figure out if a light is too expensive or not. (Ie a nice wall light for bedroom is $150 each which seems ok but it all adds up, is that too much to spend or is it standard?)

Thanks in advance.
