Pendants or downlights over bench?

Hi there Donuts

Im all for pendants. They add character, and break the monotony of standard downlights everywhere.

One pendant in the centre of each large living room and one pendant either side of the island kitchen bench. That will make it look HOT!

Always remember, if you are having downlights and pendants in the same room, ALWAYS have them on separate switches.

In regards to your high ceilings and downlights, you may want to opt for an EXN globe. These have a 36 degree spread, and will shine 3m at no problem.

Hope this helps.
Thanks for the tip MICA, will ask my builder about the EXN globes

We agree and have settled on the pendants for over the bench, and will be having them on dimmers and on separate switches to the downlights.

Thanks for your input!
