We are about to start building in a month but have already purchased or ordered most of the pendants. I have found such great inspiration and help from the forum so I thought I would add our light choices to this thread.

We have purchased our lighting from a number of sources, beacon, online and hardings in geelong. I love seeing what people decide for their lighting and there are some great choices in this thread.

Love the black and white pendant with flowers where did you see that?

All my lights are on my post ( our hartley build) now just looking for something for the ensuite.

LED downlights in the eaves



Kitchen pendants... I am in love with these. When off they look chrome but they go a little transparent when on so you can see the bulbs. These are white globes but we will swap them for clear when we take handover so you can see the wires. Unfortunately we didn't have bulbs for the dining light, but its also a favorite of mine. I'm also a big fan of the downlights in the rest of the living area, but they aren't quite as exciting to share a photo of!




The main bedroom light is another one I'm really happy with. Its black string around a white centre shade.

Bumping this up. Would love to see more pictures of what people have used. Particularly what pendant lights they have over the kitchen island. I'm finding it hard to make decisions so any inspiration would be great.

We have the downlights throughout the whole house - the only lights that aren't are in the bathrooms, where we have the 3-in-1s.

I have the large sun sphere in the stairwell.

That looks AMAZING. Any pictures of it in? And can you give a ballpark cost at all?
