hmmm I used the Img button when i hit reply? How do I get it to appear as a thumbnail?
78xtc you only need one set of "img /img" brackets around the photo link, and don't url it.

I am trying to attach photos to my building post viewtopic.php?f=31&t=16548 when I am logged in I see them but when I visit the page not logged in it is just a link. Would someone please be able to tell me what I am doing wrong.
Same thing happens when I look at the post but don't sign in only a link is there I am trying to put the picture into the post.

In photobucket, are you selecting the correct link ie IMG Code ? This one is specific for forums.
I am using this option - IMG for bulletin boards & forums
picklemouse, I just tried the same thing - logged out & went ot my thread - exactly the same thing. Couldn't see any of my pics, only links. Maybe this is normal?
So maybe I am not supposed to see the photos unless I am logged in to the forum. Gotcha. Thanks so much.
If you use the 'Img' buttons (click once before and once after the http*****.jpg), the photo will be inserted directly, like so:
