Oak floors - what did you choose?

Hi...I'm considering putting down oak flooring, probably engineered boards. If you chose oak would you mind sharing a) what did you choose and are you happy with it if it's already installed (did you choose textured or smooth, is it holding up to wear and tear etc)?, and, b) what was the installed cost per square metre? Any photos would be great.... Thank you!
