Single Male: Needs design help!

Hi so I'm currently renovating what is to be my first home but likely not my forever home. And I'm struggling with the choice for of colour for my flooring. As a tradie I've got the work bit covered but I'm let down a bit on the design side and eye for detail. Really I just want a home that I can be proud of and happy to come to anyway. So I personally really like a grey colour scheme. But I am not sure if a grey flooring would be to much. I have already decided that I will be placing timber laminate through the whole house (bedrooms, living areas and kitchen. As I don't like how dirty carpet can get and will break this up with rugs. Obviously wet areas will be tile. I am considering selling the property in 1-2 years so I would also like the flooring to be sale friendly. I am currently looking at the quickstep classic range and more specifically the the oak colours or the blackbut. Would the grey flooring be to much? Is the blackbut a better contrast? I have picked out a colour scheme already attached in the link below

Thanks in advance

Go the blackbutt

I also love grey floors BUT for mass appeal when you come to sell, stick with a more traditional timber look - I like the oaks but blackbutt is good too. Also much easier to coordinate furniture / styling with and will warm your overall colour scheme. Good luck!

I think both oak or blackbutt are winners as they are my two choices to contrast my grey colour scheme! I haven't picked which one yet though! But Im thinking saw cuts and a matte finish also
