Retrofit concrete floor insulation

I have laminate floor on concrete slab downstairs. Very cold in winter and summer because I'm on a hills and downstairs doesn't get any sun. What can I do to retrofit some insulation under the flooring?
You are not asking the right question. Insulation will stop heat loss but you have no heat to lose.
I have laminate on slab in my Tassie home and its just fine. Laminate floats on 3mm foam which is also insulator.

Isn't the heat lost through the concrete slab which is not insulated? It gets really cold downstairs because heat is lost?

Flooring & Floor Covering

Has anyone had experience with using this surfacing? I have read it can stain easily.
