looks fantastic....the kauri looks in very good condition

Our 'old' house is/was around 100yrs old ...... so the kauri is the original. We demolished the entire house except for the 3 bedrooms (left the flooring & gutted the rooms). The kauri was sanded & stained the same time as the new flooring and has come up beautiful - we couldn't part with it & definately made the right decision in keeping it.

does anyone know if blackbutt comes in a 150mm board? I have 130mm boards in the kitchen but would like some 150 (or 152mm) to match the 152mm kauri boards in the bedroom

next size after 130mm is 180mm x 22mm or 220mm x 22mm.

You could have used baltic pine boards in the same size as your kauri pine
