Gas cooktop

Hi,
SIL's home cooktop is not working properly. They want to replace a new one, they are using gas cooktop.

So can they buy a new LPG cooktop for replacement? Or a natural gas cooktop?

Thanks.
We've had installed a 'normal' gas cooktop for use with LPG. There is no mains gas in our street. No idea whether the cooktop needed to be adjusted for the lpg. But it's working beautifully.
You need different jets in them to run on LPG or natural - So make sure the jets are changed to suit the gas being used. DO NOT USE IT unless you have the right jets in it.

Most new cooktops come with both types of jets in the pack - and the gas fitter changes them as required to suit the installation. If not they cost about $50 or so to change over.
