Hello all, we have the side by side SRS585HDIS refrigerator, which has been worry free until now. This past week it started to trip breaker about every 20-24 hours. Compressor and fan running fine, it’s holding temp perfectly etc.
The tripping of breaker is mystifying as nothing appears astray. Wires on motherboard all appear good, wiring in the back at bottom all appear fine. No strange noises, just randomly trips breaker. Has anyone had this issue? My mate said he believes it’s a bad defrost heater assembly, but waiting to test with multimeter to verify as that’s a job of disassemble the interior to gain access. Any advice appreciated. Side note, yes I’ll hire electrician before making any repairs, would just like to save some money with self diagnosing before proper repair person conducts fix solutions.
