Demolishing masonry wall

Hi,

I have an indoor free standing 190 mm masonry block wall that I'll like to remove. It's in a U-shape with two walls reinforced, with windows, and one wall "hollow" wall. Will a chisel and sledge hammer be enough? Mortar chisel tools? Any tips?
Thanks
Alan
Is it a load bearing wall ?

Hi,

I think "free standing" probably implies it is not. In that case a lump hammer would do it brick by brick (less messy), or a hit or three with a sledgehammer if mess and flying bits of brick are OK.

Start with the less supported bricks at the upper outer corners and work your way down.

Cheers
