Renovation on a budget

Initially we built this home, moved out of it 6 years later and now we return, not knowing whether we will stay or sell and move on. The key is renovating a tired house on a budget keeping in mind that we might stay here, so it must meet our needs, whilst appealing to a sellers market just I case we will list it!

Firstly we are starting with the minor bedrooms and second bathroom. Carpets have been ripped out and luckily the second half used to be a carpet layer! He will be installing new smooth edge and laying our new underlay and pet friendly carpet. The walls, door frames, doors and ceilings were in serious need of some TLC however after filing and sanding with the orbital we are looking forward to applying the first coat of paint. A this is our sons room we are allowing him to pick his feature wall colour and pairing it with freshly coasted ceilings, walls and trims in Dulux Lexicon Quarter. Photos to come ✌️
