Do I need to be an owner builder?

Hoping someone can point me in the right direction for some clear information.....

We are planning on building a house and a detached workshop. The house and the slab of the detached workshop are all being done by our main builder who is doing all the council submissions etc for the entire project.

The workshop we are planning to buy as a steel frame kit and having a licensed builder install it and clad it with weatherboard.

Can I have the main builder act as the Principal Contractor and therefore not need to be an owner builder?
You need to ask them.
