The problem here is sketchup and google can't certify the details and data.
We license professionals to do the above compliance checks, etc. While data/proofs are moving to blockchain it's much more secure.

To be honest, no it wasn't any help at all. I was expecting some useful links like Bashworth's
https://anewhouse.com.au/

I don't think Google certifies anything but its a great resource for researching useful information. I'm looking to avoid some of the pitfalls, and as you say, to be forewarned is forearmed.

Blockchain technology is certainly interesting and will most likely play some part in the construction industry in the coming years. Smart Contracts and indeed BIM are touted as areas where blockchain technology may be applied. As an owner builder in the next several years though, I'm not sure how much impact this technology will have to my build.

Do you have anything actually constructive to contribute to my post, or is your only aim to sprout absolute dribble and to belittle people to compensate for your own inadequacies.
IMHO technology should be applied at the right places.

It certainly makes sense to model up and visualise the house insides, however, for simplistic residential builds it may be overcomplicating, where simple Excel based calculations could be simply enough to order right amount of materials and estimate the labour costs.

I am not sure how and where blockchain is applicable to building, if you are worried about losing your data, you could simply consider storing your data/models in cloud.

Lol, how accurate is that random footing detail, data and estimates.. CERTIFICATE?
or is it just some BS you pulled from youtube?
That stuff needs to be certified first or you're estimating rubbish
Worse you run the risk of getting your pants pulled down further down the track
You are 10 years too late sharing that (fake) stuff...search the forum

Here you don't want to get onto site and then find out they screwed you with the footings and screw piles? (humour)
Make sure you have the correct certified details, apps and tools to check the job
