I would propose to have my cable person install the cable.
Looks like a good way to save a couple of hundred dollars.

I have been looking at the cost of bulk cat6 cable. Seems that is costs about $250+ for 305m locally. Is there any reason I cannot buy it from the US for ~$92 plus shipping. See link below. Does cable need to be accredited by Aust authorities to be 'legally' laid?

I got a great price here, based in Riverstone, Sydney:

The cable has AS/ACIF S008:2001 printed on it.

Is that Cat 6 Cable "Manufactured by: SYNERGY" anygood Pugs??
If not what brands do you recommand Pugs?>
Thanks In advance.
Serentity.
I'm exclusivly using Krone Cat6 now days.. due to their cable reels being awesome and easy to use
So Pugs if I understand this correctly, You use Krone cables because it easier to lay and the reels in the 305m boxes are easy to use.
So in other words all Cable 6 brands are around the same quality?>
Thanks

no Krone is actually the cheapest compared to other brands from certain suppliers add the ease of use for (professionals) to use it.. it wins.. other brands are all on "spec" but then it coems down to the how the cable is boxed up
www.4cabling.com.au its 115 ex gst
