It looks great.
I am also in the process of building Glendale 41 with Como facade in Sydney. I am still going through some changes before I request my tender in next week or so.
What façade have you selected?

Also do you mind sharing some costs for

- shower in powder room
- combined the bathroom and WC
- all cladding changed to brickwork
- Hebel Power Floor
- all sliding door changed to stacker door
- Butler's pantry
- skylight
- R4.0 ceiling insulation
- R2.0 frist floor soundscreen acoustic batts
- added window

I have very similar changes requested for my tender and would be great to get some indication before hand.

We are looking at a Glendale 37 also in Sydney and like DRT, are going to request many of the upgrades that you are both looking at

I also would love a rough price because I have no idea! We are meeting with the sales assistant this week but would be good to have an idea before we get in there so we aren't blown away!

CKY, are you going a studio or 2 bedroom flat?

Not sure yet, we meet her this week so will find out more then. We really like the Isla and the Como. The Isla is the facade of the display home out near Campbelltown and we saw it yesterday it's gorgeous I love the balcony! Not sure of the price yet though.

I chose Metro facade, i love Isla but it is too expensive:(
the price M quoted us:

- shower in powder room : $2570
- combined the bathroom and WC : don't charge and refund $185
- all cladding changed to brickwork : $8852, different facade would be different, some facade just back use cladding
- Hebel Power Floor : $24321
- all sliding door changed to stacker : door dinner $1188, family room don't know yet
- Butler's pantry : $2190
- skylight : 550mm x 1100mm $1315
- R4.0 ceiling insulation : $1885
- R2.0 frist floor soundscreen acoustic batts : $1347 it calculate by wall and size
- added window : different size and type are different price

the granny flat is 2 bedroom.

i think what you want to upgrade, just ask them get quoted first, later can delete it.

Isla was about 19k and Como was about 11k

I was hoping somehow they make the promotion free (wishful thinking)

Also btw there is a new promotion now where you do get a $5000 studio M voucher but I believe the prices have gone up significantly since.

You are right, because the price go up so they give $5000 voucher, do you know how much is 38 now

Not sure about 38, but Glendale 41 base price is about $356k. I think the price difference between 38 and 41 was about 9k or 10k, so I am assuming 38 will be around $346k

Does anyone know what the main differences are between the freedom house (Glendale) and the designer house (Phoenix)? The inclusions were pretty much identical.

There is a price difference of about 15k between the two.
In designer you have the flexibility to make any floor plan changes, however in freedom you don't.

Also designer has better promo but the base price is higher, so you need to work out which is better from total cost perspective as design wise its identical.

I was considering Phoenix 38 but than decided to go with Glendale 41 as I wanted out door room and separate dinning area.

Thanks, I thought that was the case. We have a list of things we want to do so I'll ask her if it's going to be more cost effective to stay with the Glendale or get the phoenix. Its a huge list, much more than the budget will allow! 😱 will need to prioritise 😀
