I am currently in the process of building with Metricon and they have just commenced onsite.
Does anyone have recommendations of a good independent building inspectors to use throughout the process?
I was thinking of using Houspect - http://www.houspect.com.au/sa/

I would send it to the certifier who is technically your representative and working on your behalf not the builder's
