Whose building with Sheridan with Clarendon ?

Who's building a Sheridan 36 or other sizes with Clarendon. Would love to know your journey so far. We just signed up for Sheridan 36 in colebee. Waiting for tender.

Hi Shamimi, we are also considering Clarendon homes Sheridon. Haven't decided yet though. Did you buy land separately or is it a house and land package? Where abouts in Colebee may i ask?

We're building a Sheridan 36 at Box Hill. Just finalising colours now so hopefully construction is not too far away.

We picked the 36 because we liked the layout of the upstairs. The larger Sheridan's have a different upstairs that we didn't like.

We're building a sheridan 39 with added rumpus, alfresco and third car garage in Picton NSW. We've signed our contracts and have our colour selection in a couple of weeks. So overwhelmed by all the decisions we'll have to make in one day!! Would anyone know whether vinyl flooring is standard, or an upgrade for the sapphire package?

Has anyone been orffered finances through Clarendon. Or gone with them for building?

We were offered finances, but will be going with our bank instead. We'll be finalising all our quotes from colour selection this week and construction should start next month.

How far along are you?

We just had our tender appoinment last week. Contract appoinment in 3weeks.
We tossing between clarendon finances or bank. Just worried going through clarendon ... incase anything goes wrong, but they said thy wont wait for money to be realised between stages, which is a bonus.!!

Jelly tot.. has your approvals come through already? & started construction?

Our plans were rejected by council a couple of weeks ago as they won't allow a triple garage. They were resubmitted last week and will hopefully be approved within the next couple of weeks. Our CSO has told us that construction will start next month, so fingers crossed!

Thats a shame you cant have the 3rd garage. Fingers crossed all goes well this time

If going through Clarendon for finance, just make sure that each stage is actually completed to your satisfaction before they release the funds. Last thing you'd want is to be paying for a half finished job. Also be sure to read your tender and contract thoroughly before signing and ask all questions, because after signing, negotiating is impossible

We are buillding with Claredon also, in Box Hill. We tried to use Clarendon finance, however apart from our first meeting with them, I was not comforable with there process and who they wanted to use for fiancing. We ended up using our own broker.

New to the forum. We are building Sheridan 36 and we have noticed balcony ceiling has strips. Looks to me they used smaller Gyprock sheets that used for eaves. Clarendon informed me you need to pay to have ceiling without strips and nails.

We were given the option during our colour consultation and paid $160 to upgrade to no joiners
