An inspector has below recommendation re pre-handover inspection:
"In regards to our pre-handover inspections, we recommend to carry out this inspection just before your handover of keys. This ideally should be after you have had your PCI (practical completion inspection) & final walk through with your builder so that we know the works have been substantially finished and any defects noted at your PCI have been rectified."
Just thinking that for someone inexperienced or who doesn't know what to look for (aside from the obviously defective items) during PCI, would be best to engage inspector at PCI to get as much issues/defects rectified prior to getting keys. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
