A&Bs HGWA Build

Hi Everyone

After reading many of your house builds we have decided to share our house journey too. We are building our second house in Caversham's Taylors Private Estate. We have signed up with HGWA this time after building with impressions the first time and we are interested to see the difference between the two builds.

So far this is our timeline:

06/06/15 - offer on block
22/06/15 - signed up with HGWA
This is our plan

Nice looking house!

Hope it all runs well for you. I'm building in Cavershams Sulfolk Park estate just over the road from Taylors.

Following your build. Welcome to hgwa forum

Posting to follow. Nice elevation!

Thanks. We are really pleased how the ensuite has turned out. We based it on the display home in Amberton "The Atlanta Platinum"
Posting to follow. Interesting shower. So will the mirror for the double vanity be the glass shower wall? So fitting somethjng over it?

Liking everything else. Cant see. But how big is your master bedroom?

The only thing i might personally have changed is laundry layout. If i see right accsssible via scullery or the garage only?

Is hgwa part of the redink, Scott park 101 residential etc group??

Welcome

Hi SaberX,

There is a 24c high wall that separates the shower and vanity. It will look very similar to these pictures only we added a door to each side of the shower.

The master bedroom is 3.9x4.1. Not massive but not small either.

The laundry was next to the second bathroom originally but we preferred to have it tucked away by the garage. We find that its great if you come home grubby/wet/muddy etc you can leave your dirty shoes/clothes there with out going through the whole house. I guess its all down to personal preference.

I think HGWA were originally scott park homes but changed there name to home group.
Nice plan, I like your WIR, double shower and scullery!Looking forward to following
