It's pretty quick, but still had alot of problems... I have some pics for you.. The plaster that I said was ******* a little hard to see completely in pics but you can still see

Lockup!!

Did you have a meeting with SS to address this issue? So far, CLO has been very kind to set up meeting with the SS when we have problems/issues. BTW, It seems like you accidentally created two more threads?
Ahhh still learning to use this! Don't know how I managed to do that. Can I delete??

Yeh spoke to clo. Although she lacks in understanding and relaying some.information and sometimes it's different to what the ss says, I think she struggles to understand the construction side as she is just the messenger. the ss also said she has trouble sometimes so we just do best we can. But we did speak to her and apparently his gonna go look at it and arrange to have it fixed. But we seen the plaster on-site the other day and he reckons only one wall in a different room needs fixing and that's it. But I will leave it to the ss to sort out the rest (pics above) because I won't move in with it like that!

I will send you another PM.
At lockup last week but told our front door will be delayed for 4 weeks due to BAL RATING..But we were told the previous week the door was already ready! Hmm. So have wood covering the front door.

I might be the only person saw your thread! Sometime the app does funny thing and subscribed or new thread doesn't show up.

Do u use standard door or upgrade?

We have the bigger door with the glass panel on the side..

How is your build going now??

Things started to move a bit after the roof went on. The inspector report was sent to DS. Nothing major. Basically the report Includes the issues that were brought up at brick stage. SS is aware but no action in fixing them. I sent a friendly reminder and finally got response about the date for fixing the issues. I am micro-managing it. Feel like I am doing SS job to some extend. I don't want these issues to be the cause of delay for lock up. Plenty o delays and this won't be a good reason for it especially all known from the beginning. Anyway, got an email telling us that one issue has been fixed. Great!

You can read the rest of update on my thread. I don't want to thread crashing about my house progress here.
How is your progress?

They have to fix the plastering- still isn't done but tiling has started and should be done this week and oour garage handstone have been preped so should be done today or tomorrow. Been a pretty slow couple of weeks coz they have been preparing for tiling

I assume that There is a shortage for tiler. Someone else also got hold up on this after a speedy build. At least they are fixing the plaster. We haven't checked ours.
Hi jalisakristie I'm posting to follow your thread! Will just have a read through now. I think you mentioned the plaster on my thread a week or two ago? I saw your pics, yep it's pretty average. A light sand might work wonders though so it's not impossible to fix by any means. They might come back and sand it when they return to do any final patching? Otherwise if it's easier and quicker just do it yourself before you seal the walls. Sometimes you have to pick your battles you know? If it's only a few spots that is, not the whole place.
Will read the rest of your thread now. Just wanted to say hi first!
Okay I'm up to speed!
It sounds like you're well on track and haven't had any major dramas or hold ups, that's great!
Where are you building? Is there a floor plan anywhere?
Good luck!
