I have noticed there have been a few threads asking for feedback on Planbuild homes. I was also searching for a comprehensive thread regarding the building experience with them whilst trying to decide on a builder - I really wish I had such a clear timeline and up to date dialogue on the building process.
We were quite frustrated to be stuck in admin land ... Now that we are onto the construction side of things, I thought it would benefit others to document our journey.
As such, I have decided to start my own thread to hopefully empower others to make informed decisions based upon my experience.

Great plans... house coming along nicely. This one is bigger then the beckham!
Yesterday's driveby. Lower roof finished. Plumbing being done and bricks delivered. Brickies due to start today
Windows in, bricks started, garage roof on.
Starting to question brick choice! Chose Boral stonewash with off-white mortar. Really hope the mortar dries a nice, lighter colour...
The block retaining wall between us and right-hand neighbours also got completed today, fence to go up next week, I think.
The mortar will dry lighter! Its look great!
Bricks Day 2.
I really, really hope that is off white mortar. It's looking very grey to me.
(Excuse crappy phone pics).
Great plans! I can't help with mortar sorry as ours is being painted. :s
Went out again today and mortar looks like it will dry lighter, double checked sand and cement.
