We're at the stage where we're going to need a few quotes from builders and *finally* select a builder. Since we only moved here a couple of years ago, we don't really know many people who have built.
So, my trusy H1 forum, I am relying on you. If you have built in the Newcastle/Hunter Valley/Belmont area, please PM if you'd happy to recommend your builder.

Have you had a look at McDonald Jones? We're up to slab stage and so far we've been really happy with them.
Hi Peta - I think I may have posted somewhere else that I have heard Tullipan are good (and in that area, I think?). A friend here in Sydney is building with them and it has been good so far (they are about to do bricks).

Nothing yet, have been distracted this year with work related projects and a new kid but hoping to start building one way or another early next year. Will keep you posted
