Wet door frame (cavity slider). Is this an issue?

Hey forum.

Any help from a woodworker or chippie would be gratefully received.

Our cavity sliding door timer frame ( Corinthian brand ) was delivered and placed on our slab, propped against a wall. Over the last few days there's been some driving rain which has flooded the slab ( to a depth of about 6mm) and the bottom of the frame has gotten wet. Water has wicked into the end-grains of sections of the frame.

I am concerned that this will cause damage (warping). Is this an issue that we need to raise with the builder, or will it just dry out and be good as new?

Please help.

Avion.

Hebel + steel frame vs brick+ timber frame

General Discussion

This is 100% true. You can not hang anything on steel frames. very frustrating
