Our House in Tarneit

Helloo everyone

I have been checking checking out posts on H1 for a while now (gained a LOT of insight into building homes), but thought it's time to start my own thread now!!

We are building in Tarneit in the Parkside estate with Persaud Homes. Very excited to see it all happening so fast! The slab was poured last week and somehow the area looks way too smaller than we pictured. We got a bit worried but the builder said every single person has the same concern.

Also, finalised all the pending selections last week. And I will post all the colour etc details once I get some free time.

The above is our plan , hopefully I've uploaded it correctly!

Cheers,
Ange

Ok, 2nd try. this should work!
It will probably feel smaller again when the frame goes up.

I think it doesn't feel the right size until the dry lining is up.
Slab done

oow, I like your blue circles, very clever

congrats on your own thread.
my build has just come to an end..im sad!! so enjoy every second of yours.
Thanks Kiwi! It's all happening soo soon!!! The only issue is the time to go see the block since it's sooo far away from where we're living.

haha and the blue circles are my bf's work, smart idea!!

Will put up the colour selection once we get some pics of the samples.

we were 2kms away...I KNOW! I could walk.....

now we have nothing to do in the afternoons, cos we cant 'drive to the house'
as we are living in it.

might get a hobby to replace that time!!

congrats again, so excited for you.
It's starting to look like a home now with the bricks on!!!

Unbelievably speedy progress from our builder!!! And I still can't believe that the builder said the house will be completed in another 2 months!!!!!!!

Just a little sneak peak of our bricks and some more progress (Bf was only passing by so didn't get a chance to look at everything properly but managed to get these!)

Close up of bricks -

I see beer bottles as sign of progress!

that's a bathtub in the 3rd pic I just posted?! Don't know how we both missed that haha.

But the gutter is on, and the roof will be up this week.

One last pic of the living room which is the first room at entrance (Love those windows!!) Do you guys think they go well with the bricks?

Hmm I'm having second thoughts about our colour choices...
this is what we've chosen for our bathroom/laundry.

Benchtop - Quicksand

Cabinets - Shannon Oak

Saw a few pics of quicksand and they all appear greyish. Whereas shannon oak is a brown tone...

Yeah we are, down near the bend. Build is going ok, if a little slow for our liking. Haven't had many issues but there are a couple of little things that are bugging us!
oh really? who are you building with?

Hi Tarleaf,

We are building on Springleaf Road too. We are building with Burbank. Excited to see neighbours here.
Oh how good is it to get to know your neighbours even before you move in!!!
do you have a build thread?

p.s. The link to your burbank house doesn't work :S
