Specific locations for powerpoints / lighings?

Hi,

On PD's electrical plan, will they fit the powerpoints / lightings located as same as shown in electrical plan?

Do we need to request to specify the height for the powerpoints?

Yes they will (or should). On your plans where you have the electrical page there is a "Power Legend" table and it shows the type of GPO (using symbols) and where they go on the plan etc i.e - 300mm off the floor or 1100mm, 1350mm etc. We had to change a couple of ours and this is also shown on our plan (in a speech bubble). Our clothes dryer is wall mounted and they had the GPO as being 300mm off the floor, it needed to show 2200mm off the floor.

I think the standard height for GPO's is 300mm, 1100mm for the kitchen and 1350mm for the bathroom.

Also if you need a light to be in a particlular spot for a future nicer light/pendant then you'll need to have this in the exact spot too otherwise they will just center the light to the room. We measured up our meals furniture and got the middle light moved so it sits center over the table. It would have bugged me to have it off-center
