Been researching some private building inspectors in Melbourne for our new build and just wondering do they have to be registered by VBA or accredited? So far haven’t seen any that states on their website so not sure if it matters. Any insights will be much appreciated.

I just had a look again and Buildcert also provide stage inspection. I think I will engage them for my upcoming kdr

Our client inspectors do the same thing, It seems to work well and all the boys are more than happy to comply
