This is our second home build so posting here our journey with Astoria Grand 55.
Anyone else is building Astoria Grand 55?


Couple Things from our upgrades:

High ceiling 2.74 on ground floor and 2.74 on first floor. Hopefully won't get issue with the overshadow things.
Classique Facade with Hebel.
Double Glazed Windows/ Doors.
Convert Downstairs Lounge into one master bedroom
Kitchen Caesarstone Cat 3 with 80mm Dropdown Waterfall on the Island Kitchen
Chevron Timber Floor after build.
Garage 1m Extension.
Refrigerated Cooling
Jetmaster SL-5X fireplace

Black Kitchen Sink/ black bathroom tapware.



Timeline:
03 Aug 2021 - First Deposit
07 Aug 2021 - Second Deposit
31 Aug 2021 - Submit Underground Power Pit application to Citipower.
18 Sep 2021 - Colour Browse Appointment - Cancel as lockdown.
27 Sep 2021 - Underground Power Pit got installed.
28 Sep 2021 - Request electricity abolishment
05 Oct 2021 - Electricity Abolishment Completed
05 Oct 2021 - Apply for Asset Protection
07 Oct 2021 - Colour Selection Appointment
21 Oct 2021 - Tender

Couple Things to decide

1. Adding door to master ensuite of master bedroom or leave it open.
2. Adding door to theatre room or leave it open.
3. Square set cornice or classic cornice.
4. Entrance Door Selection between solid timber of wrough iron door after build

Requested electricity abolishment on 28 Sep and got it abolished today 5 Oct

Receive our demolition permit today. Still waiting for asset protection and gas abolishment then it's good to demolish the house

Got our Tax Invoice for Asset Protection. It's $5,000 :shock::shock:

If you don't mind me asking, how much was it to change upstairs to 2.74m ceilings? We are currently doing colour selections for our Astoria Grand 55 and have been debating on whether to increase the Level 1 ceiling height.
