Can any one help me in understanding what type of drawings are needed for construction quotation?

You need drawings , details ,specifications, etc.
Also Data and quantities comes in handy for checking material and labour costs.
OT, Not to further confuse ,but 3D Structural Bim also helps.
With Bim Don't confuse Level of Detail (LOD) with Level of Artistic Details (LOAD)
LOL, the latter is missing engineering and compliance data and often leads to clients
getting stung with additional engineering costs Here

Thanks very much! And would the landscaper/contractor generally involve the engineer or is that something the client would do? Thanks for your help
