new problemo peeps - what kind of dining table would suit my kitchen?
having major trouble with this, here is a reminder pic of what the kitchen looks like, if you have any ideas please post pics!!!!
no probs i'm sure if you muck it up your young man will be there to save the day
Uuhhh... I was actually planning on blaming the kid for the stuff-ups...
Sorry that I have no ideas for your kitchen for you!!! I'm useless at style... see, what i'm thinking? Is that since you have that lovely gorgeous dark cupboard thing going on, get some RED accents in there!! But thats just me... either that or i've been looking at jpegs kitchen cupboards for too long LOL
What is it, and where can I get one?

Hi Jess, could I please ask a question? This silver strip you have going down the side of your tiles
What is it, and where can I get one?

hey jodge, no probs - this came from the tile shop, and on the order it says "Alum Listello Trim Bright Silver 20MM 3M" - it's just a long chrome strip for purely decorative purposes
Did a bit of research (thanks for the info on your order Jess!) The company that makes this kind of thing is called B.A.T. Trims (http://www.battrims.com.au). I called them up and they told me that quite a few tile shops stock them or can get them in! And our tile shop is one of them! Yeehargh! There are all sorts of little different tile edgings available. . . I love them! Hope they're not too expensive.
We're not sure yet what we'll do with the feature walls but I guess it will come down to how much the painter charges and how much money we have left
Have those painters started yet ??
Jodge - we have those strips as well and I think from memory they were around $30 for a fairly long length? Our tiler preferred to use them on every corner - including the niche in the shower - and it certainly neatened the whole look.
Hey Kyton, that sounds like my kind of tiler!!! I don't suppose you have . . . . . PHOTOS!!! (Sorry Jess for hijacking the thread)
oooooh

No probs Jodge
My chrome strip cost $25.00, so i think anywhere from $20 - $30 sounds reasonable.
