Framing either started on Wednesday or Thursday last week and these were Saturday! So happy!

Our roof trusses were on sight so hopefully they went up/are going up today.

Thats a massive nieche! Alfresco looks huge.

We made our niche bigger after selections so we had an admin and variation fee but will be well worth it <3

We didnt really get an option on the size, not that I thought to change/question it... If its not big enough, hubby can find somewhere else for his stuff

Roof trusses are up! Bricks, windows/doors and gutters onsite. Excited for tomorrow's drive by.

Windows and sliding doors are in and gutters are up.

Very Exciting. Front windows are nice - were they much extra???

They were included in the total of our very first quote (not itemized) so I don't know sorry

Last night's visit makes it look promising that our roof will be done this week, woohoo!

Are they double glazing or comes with coating?

Just normal glass at the front, we might look at getting them tinted later on. Some of our windows are smart glass but not the front one's.

Woop woop roof is on! At this rate we might have bricks up before Christmas.

Its looking amazing!! Im so jealous.

They have been working hard the last 2 and a half weeks, we are stoked!

How is everything coming along for you guys? Almost jumped all the hurdles?

Almost!! I still honestly cant believe how many mistakes council made....but thats finally done, bank valuation came back all good yesterday. So hopefully sign the loan docs next week, then wait until probably Feb for a start date.

Bricks are yet to start but mortar is on site. They have also done something on the ground where our columns will be bricked?

Our meter box is on site.

Gas pipes are in and some fittings for plumbing are in too.

Alfresco now has beams and no more temporary supports, looks awesome! We love it!

Brick work has started. We have oyster PGH bricks and white mortar. This was after only 1 or 2 days of work in 40 degree heat.

At our visit on the 3rd we noticed a couple of chipped bricks had been used and some gaps in mortar. We called our site supervisor and despite still being on holidays for another week advised he would ring them and let them know.

Still a few little holes we hope will be filled in but the quality since has been perfect.

One side is nearly done and they have just started the other.

We think there was only 1 or 2 people working on it last week and more have returned from holidays this week.

Looking good! We also picked Oyster colour with white mortar for our home It looks really nice!! Will swing past Eden today and see how its all going. If you ever see a Subaru Levorg Wagon around, its just us! (We are building on Lavender Drive Stage 5)
