Lots has happened in the last two weeks but I kept forgetting to update.

Kitchen

Kitchen drawers

Pantry

Laundry

Bathroom vanities- all in wrong colour, should be white

Tiler was onsite today
My beautiful Carrara marble herringbone splash back!!!

White subway tiles in laundry

Laundry floor tiles

Ensuite floor to ceiling tiles

Main bathroom tiles against the wrong vanity colour.

Tiles said he should be finished Monday!

Looks great! Is it costing you any more to lay the tiles in the shower? Are those the ones from Beaumont and are porcelain?

I think they are porcelain and just from Beaumont. The tiles were all upgrades except the small dark grey ones.

Ah yep the heartwood blonde? That's what we have too but it's in our standard range just not sure if we will be charged more to lay them

Went to masters today and grabbed these bargains.

Tiles for our portico - $89

Cedar cladding for portico $112

Dads heading back now to get some white cladding for my office wall and some more white for the alfresco ceiling.

Everything was 50% off then another 10% off final price.

Painters have started. Wrong colours in all bathrooms, should be white. I'm actually liking the grey which I thought I'd hate. Doors and all trims are white too. Said they'll be done on Tuesday.

It didn't cost anything extra to stain it. The entire staircase upgrade was around 7k and they just asked me what colour stain I wanted. I got just a clear so the door and stairs would match. Hope that helps

It's actually not too bad in real life, photos def make it darker.

Thanks bowie we didn't to much upgrades but was quoted 4k just to stain the timber bits....your house is coming together really well and all the best with rest of the finishings. ..
