Our SS mentioned that the Brickwork should start next week.
Do you recommend any Building inspector after brickwork? How much do they charge?
Also looking for good priced Soakwell installers?
We have sewerage pipe done. Now waiting for Brickwork to start.

Yes we have paid water service charge. (I have replied to your Thread.)
Bricks, frames were delivered last week. However due to weather conditions brickwork is postponed.
The SS mentioned that they will start this week and they have a big team to finish the work soon.

Do they give you updates very often? They never send me any updates.

No, they don't send me any updates. Really frustrating to stay in the dark

I usually email to our Client Liaison Officer for weekly updates.

I think we have to request them for regular updates, at least weekly updates.

Other builders (like RedInk, BGC) have easy online progress tracking system.

I don't know what their process is. But I received SS's boss' call yesterday, he said he just wanted to introduce himself. I now got confused, what is that for?

Our Client Liaison Officer also called and mentioned that our Brickwork started yesterday.
Congratulations on the brickwork starting, of course there has to be pics
Sorry for the delay guys

Thanks guys.
Yes we have single bricks as standard.
The brickwork is now complete and we have received the Plate High payment invoice.
However we have noticed few (may be 10) broken/chipped bricks have been used. I understand they will cover with plaster.
But is it normal to use broken/chipped bricks?
I had a meeting with SS on Tuesday. He said no worries. But we asked him to replace. He said the position of the broken bricks is important. As some areas where you would never touch, but if the bricks is in the middle of the hall way, that might be hit by the furniture when we are moving, so it's better to be replaced. Anyway, we've requested to replace them all.

Bricks and Roof structure:

Wow, your building team is super fast. The roof looking great.
I have not received the plate height invoice yet. And I just sent an amendment of electrical plan to them to add more GPOs, waitting for the cost. Hope they can get back to me asap.
By the way, have they sorted out your brick issue?

viewtopic.php?f=31&t=82537
The building speed is satisfactory

Our CLO mentioned that Broken bricks will be fixed this week.
Are they charging variation fee for adding GPOs?
