Drew,

How are the board used in the detailing as the bricks or hebel doesn't actually sit flush again the board?

I think it's more for structural integrity when they attach the facade to minimise cracking, most of the homes being built near us are the same, so that's all I can surmise...

The Hebel itself, from the installs I've seen is more or less attached directly to the exterior studs

Can anyone with three phase power tell me how much they were charged for the switchboard?

Question for everyone.

Where did you install your alarm control panel on the house? In the hallway near the front door or inside the garage near the entrance into your house?

Near the front door because our alarm disarms when the door button to open is pressed. Check on your plans

We're going to do our alarm post handover, but the panel will be at the front door

What if you leave the house from the garage in your car?

Not sure if i can arm it from the garage door opener but we put it near the front door.

Mines at the garage door entrance. This is where i exit the house 99% of the time.

Will ask that question to the SM tomorrow when we do our first walk through and mark out where the noggins going to be.

They install metal brackets to the studs and then bolt the hebel to it.

Do you have a sensor in your garage and does the controller allow you to increase the delay for you to exit?

It's from M, but I think it's a different supplier up here in QLD. Surely it should have the same functions.

Will call up Paradox and find out.

I have a Hills security system in my house, which has a longer arm time for the sensor in the garage, as compared to the other sensors. IIRC, it is 45 seconds, as opposed to the 10-20 seconds for the others.
Ours is located next to garage door entry, although we set it and disarm it with remote when we leave/come home

Our electrical plans doesn't actually state the model number of the alarm system. (How did I not notice that! 🤦‍♂️)

Same with us. I find the remote more handy than having to manually set the timer and then run.
