Dream Metricon Glendale 38 (Sydney)!

Thanks folks, great advise. It might come down to the cheapest option (rug #1) as it’s half the price of the other two....

The wall hung tv units are great and saves a lot of space. I’m also planning to install LED strip lights underneath with timer control. Also the wall hung cabinets look better in niches as it looks more recessed. We did both options for our living spaces but prefer the niche option.

I love herringbone!

Need some thoughts on this new rug we purchased from Decorug. The rug kind of look very busy and stripey.....

Not sure if we should keep if or look at other ones

Decorug

My favourite from Natuzzi (Herringbone pattern)

I think that’s rug you have is perfect for the room, it softens it. The room may a bit cold feeling with a harder rug. It’s not too busy because there’s nothing else in the room that is. Love it all.

Looks great, it gives the room a bit of texture

I like what you’ve already bought. I vote use the money you saved to buy some indoor plants for the corners of the rooms

I’m also thinking along the same lines and wood love to get these plants/pots for around the house

And these big ones for under the stairs (ok that fig tree is too big so half the size)?

Saw these from freedom furniture

Front garden lights completed. More photos to come.....

Very nice Mr Orph. Very nice!
Those plants and planters look great. I think big ones will suit your lounge room

Orph did you get your letterbox plaque from Sassy Signs? Is it a custom one? Hard to tell dimensions from the photo. Looks damn awesome. I'm still rocking a Bunnings number !

Hi JM,

The letterbox plate and insert was purchased from Edgeworkshop in WA. They have many nice designs...have fun! Our one is the largest at 1000x500mm

Thanks orph! They are expensive! That place quoted me a custom design a few months ago for $4k!!

Hi Orph, happy new year! Just wondering when you did the outdoor lighting, do you have a switch from inside the house to turn on/off the outdoor lighting? M provided for the junction boxes around the exterior of our house for outdoor lighting but we weren’t sure whether it links to an internal on/off switch. Thanks

Hi Q! Happy new year!

Each external JB will have a light switch inside the house to turn on/off the power for your garden lights.
