Does anyone remember how much it cost to upgrade the colour of the colourbond roof? We really like Monument colour but it isn't in the standard range

Hi shortnstumpy, are you talking about the colour of colourbond or upgrading to colourbond??? we are building in town and would of liked the colourbond roof and was told it would be extra $2000 at the time. Hope this helps.

Just the colour. We have already paid to upgrade to colourbond as it is required for our covenant

Hi all, we want and looked through show room today and have decided we really want to upgrade to 40mm with waterfall. Did any one do this and can tell me approx what the upgrade cost? We have the Noosa 29.

Our Noosa 26 waterfall with 20mm cost around $1100 so the 40mm would be more than that.

$1600 for 40mm waterfall ends...plus $550 to upgrade the top of the bench to 40mm....

QLD build, we got the colourbond roof and steel frame upgrade for 2k as a promotion I think. Monument colour didn't cost extra, could get any colourbond colour...

Practical completion is ment to be tomorrow, SS said hold up on the shower screens though. Handover ment to be 19th.. who knows

How long did it take you to go through? Did you walk through separately? I would like to have him go through the same day, not sure why SS was trying to say afterwards. Might ask him again once I get a date! Thanks:D

For all 6 stages I had my inspector, he got there half an hour early. When it was lock up, he still arrived early but started on the exterior so when he got in side it didnt take long. At both pc and handover, he was probably about hslf an hour but since he couldnt get in the house for pc and handover, he had to wait until my ss got there with a key so ss was happy to have inspector do his thing at the same time anyway.

Has anyone successfully been able to add batts during construction? For some strange reason I just assumed we would have the standard batts in every wall, and that when people talked about upgrading to sound proof batts, that it was simply a thicker product. Only now have we considered that the powder room that shares a wall with the dining room, is just plasterboard, as is the media room which will have surround sound. Whoops. Isn't this what sales consultants are for?

My sales consultant didnt offer to upgrade to soundproofing, but thats only because I already knew I wanted them prior to initial consultation and made sure they were included in my first tender. Had I not done research and mentioned it to her, I highly doubt she would have offered it, as was alot of upgrades I didnt know I could get.

Hi MrsJM, we were told by sales consultant to just talk to the guys who install to get what we wanted, that was of course after we asked about it- like many others it wasn't offered. So we paid cash to the insulation guy for it.

I was a bit like you Mrs and assumed basic insulation would be in all the walls and an upgrade would be a better type. We wanted to get an "upgrade" around our media room and our sales consultant actually told us. It to bother, it was not effective anyway. So we didn't. But now very much would have thought something would have been better than nothing!.

We upgraded the sound proofing to the cinema room but we 'ummed and ahhed' whether to do the powder room as well being adjacent to the dining area. Will have to ask the guys to do it ...better something than nothing.
