Looks so good Nicci and seeing pics of your gloss white kitchen makes me want gloss now even more
Go for it. I love the gloss. We didnt go with high gloss for fingerprint marks and was more money..
We are getting gloss after carrying around the samples for weeks everywhere we went I found the matt laminate way harder to clean. Yes the gloss shows finger marks but so does a matt laminate a quick wipe with a cloth and the gloss is sparkly clean..

I'm with you Nicci gloss is awesome
I went for I between. Silk finish is what I'd call a sheen not matte but not high gloss
Silk finish seemed pretty good as well
we have silk finish too, didn't want crystal gloss because of fur kids
on our silk white in our last home, we still had fingerprints so thought shiny is fun.. i didnt think the gloss and high gloss had that much difference so cheaper was good option for us
We had the house left open last night, which we luckily stumbled upon and locked it after we had a good squizz.. bitter sweet experience though. I have been so disappointed and resentful with HGWA with our slow build and last night i was happy because i saw some progress on the other hand my partner was fuming.. we advised them 4 weeks ago the ensuite was leaking.. they said this was fixed.. well when we went there the toilet had water all in the ensuite and clearly the matter has not been resolved. They said they do everything in an efficient and timely matter and its high quality.. well we have told them of several things that are wrong or incorrect and they dont pick up on it or even know about it.. so that i dont believe.. we are OVER it!!

They cant even give us any dates..

We picked up a few cracked tiles in the ensuite and downlights not working.. hopefully that gets fixed soon..

All looks amazing despite the frustrations of things still not fixed...
Looks so nice!!

It's just such a shame the builder is making what should be an exciting time so difficult by not fixing problems and taking so long.
All looks so nice and clean as well surely they must be close to finishing. It makes our house look like we are still miles away
They do one or two things a week so we are so close but its taking much longer then needed.. I just hope this toilet leak doesnt take long..

Hi Nicci,

I have recently just found this forum towards the end of our build. We are also building with HGWA. Do you have a handover date from HGWA?

Whats with the ensuite toilets I went in our house yesterday and guess what the ensuite toilet is leaking.
Looks great other than the leak
Your pics are looking amazing Nicci!

We were wondering what your paver colours were and if you know if you can have different colours in different areas, or all the same?

I will look for the colour choices tonight for pavers. We had the same for the driveway and alfresco.
