They are our favorite. Just need to find the cost of the labels now.

The Saturn labels are $1ea so the zen ones shouldn't be too expensive

@orph I've seen option 3 in a home. Something to consider is that the blue rings will light up the rooms at night and can be quite bright for a bedroom. It could also be annoying in a dark room e.g. theatre room where the only way to turn the blue rings off would be to turn the lights on..

I went with the option of led only being on when the light is on for this reason. I don't have them in every room but will be looking to upgrade the others later. It would be good using your option Orph for when you are stumbling around late at night. So it really comes down to personal choice.

Good thing I seen this. I don't think ours has the led. Even thou the electrical consultant told us it will have it. Do you know how much you were charged for your one with the led?

The price varies depending on number of lights you are controlling but range from $60 (single gang) to $150 for (6 gang).

Most electrical retailers sell the labels. Generally in a 60pc pack. Ebay sells the packa and individual units.

I had the same dilemma so we decided to get the Saturn Zen series instead.

I didn't see those there. There not bad too. But I really wanted the led ones are they led? How much were they? Phil rang up the csc. Let's see what she says.

They are not that cheap but well worth it.

Are they stickers or actual caps that fit into the switch?

Need some help with choosing external wall lights for facade

Left one has a narrow beam whereas right one light beam is more dispersed.

RHS: Looks similar to this:

A few other designs:

The left looks nicer during the day and the right better at night.

Do you know if it would be a lot of work to automate/remotely control those external lights so they light up automatically at night?

It's pretty easy but you need to prewire or use other methods to add a timer to control the light.

For wall mounted lights you need to insert a timer switch. Options include:
1. programmable wall light switch such as a Wemo light switch (we have this for our stair lights)
2. Hook it up to an external timer like a sunset switch to automatically turn on/off during sunset/sunrise
3. Use home automation to control it.

I like the ones on the right... But also like the look of the same size beam top and bottom

For the wemo light switch, did you do it yourself or got an electrician to do it for you? I am thinking of replacing the normal light switch for my porch and wall lights. I was also planning to get the eave downlights' switches replaced with wemo light switch but we have them on dimmer. The new wemo light switch with dimmer will be coming out Q4 of the year so holding out on getting them replaced so it's all in one go.

I can DIY the Wemo light switches as its a direct replacement (ie reuse same wires).

Hope the Wemo dimmer light switches are good.

My preference is for symmetrical light beams.

Saw this awesome circa rings light in 3 pendant lights formation. It would look awesome above the dining table
. Cost for all 3 pendants is $1.8k.

Nice choice Orph. I've been crushing on those lights since we started planning our build. I wanted 3 of the medium ones in a line above our dining table but the budget isn't materialising sadly.
