That is annoying Ads and I understand about paying land while waiting for them, that annoyed me while I waiting for them to start as they were busy and kept putting the start off, meaning I was now paying longer for land I can't live on.
How's it going for you Ads? Hopefully things are better
We kind of stopped communication for now, needed a break from it all as it was really overwhelming. Haven't heard from them. Not sure if they got the plans / tests done. We will be shooting them an email this weekend and hopefully get the final quote sorted. We have had so many variations and we kind of lost track of expenses as the variations we get don't have a price against it. We are trying to work out the price because we have a feeling we might be overcharged by 2-3k. Not a huge amount of money however it's the principle. But we definitely will be investing in an inspector for every stage. We are flying up to qld end of the month to have a look at our land, apparently the stage is almost complete with footpaths etc

I totally understand, it is very overwhelming. Hopefully you sort out the overcharge.

Nel, how are you travelling with your plans?
Ads - I know how you feel with being overwhelmed and just plain tired of the process. I keep reminding myself of the finished product and how happy I will be.
Nel, anything new happening with you?

I've been a bit slack on here! I was actually just thinking of doing a timeline up.

I have to pick contracts up on Monday.
Nel, you've returned!!

Yay for contracts

Hello,
I'm interested in feedback on building with GJ Gardner. My husband and I are building in Edmondson Park and have narrowed it down to Better Built and GJ Gardner.
We met with Lance at the Narellan branch, and have another meeting with him next week. Has anyone used him for their home?
Although it's not the Narellen one, We have had a very easy build with our local gjs office.
