It's coming along nicely. What finish have you chosen for your kitchen cupboards? Looks really clean and bright.

How's everything going beachside, you've been a little on the quiet side. Hope all is happening at a fast pace still and you are happy with it all.

ARGH my detailed post just disappeared!
In short - we're building again so Im back on the forum. I spend many hours trawling this forum for info and ideas so I thought Id share some photos of our home just before we took handover and hopefully give some ideas and inspiration to others.
I have no hesitation in recommending DAH they were so great to deal with - we were looking forward to building with them again until we were told they don't build where we are wanting to move too
Painting and Flooring were included in our build.
Blinds and Curtains from Beachside Curtains in Wanagara (Craig was the guy we dealt with) We have Basswood Shutters in all the living and minor bedrooms and Honeycomb blinds in the Master Bed. The insulation from both is beyond what we expected and in the last 12mths we haven't had to use heating or cooling - we never installed air con as we were hoping our home was designed to be energy efficient

had an issue with the tiles on handover but the guys had it all sorted for us pronto.

LAUNDRY - wrong tap wear in this photo.
BEST IDEA we found and so happy we have is a bin drawer and a drawer that holds the big bag of dog food in the laundry.
KIDS BATHROOM
This glass panel is probably the only issue with our home. It was our idea but in hindsight we should've had thicker glass going to the ceiling... it was vey flimsy so we had the glass guys cut almost half of it off on an angle but it is still flimsy and not ideally safe with the kids. One thing not as we had of liked - can't really complain about that!

Love your spa . Was nearly going to buy those pendants . Are they from freedom. They really go well with your kitchen .
Your place is beautiful. The wood floors and light colour choices are a winner, I think. You must be sad to leave your new place so soon.

that big piece of glass seems no safe for kids.... maybe need some more supports

I second taking your plans elsewhere. They're yours (unless you ended up in one of those cheaper arrangements where you don't own the rights and the build will be tendered…
