Went to see the tiles last Friday - they looked great! Yay finally!! So things are really getting a move on now - everything should be done by next Friday hopefully do PCI then or early the next week!!
Our grout won't have been coloured by then though - that will happen in time for handover, hope it works out okay!

Hubby was meeting concreter out on block today for quote and cleaners were in so he was able to get in
only sent me 2 snapchats though - rookie.
Cleaners in before carpet laid though - does that make sense?
Carpet was meant to be yesterday or today, cleaners Monday.
All the time colours great (ignore grout - that's a seperate issue!!) but my husband said the workman ship of the tiler is shocking. I'm so devastated - we were so looking forward to those tiles but it's the thing that's burdening us so much - they aren't defective but what we just have to put a smile on and be happy about it? We obviously can't have them redone but what then? How is that fair?

So disappointing to hear about your tiles! 🙁 I had to read back several pages to catch up on what happened. You didn't manage to grab any close up photos of examples of the poor workmanship did you? What sorts of things? Just grout lines and spacing not very even? Or are the tiles not laid very level? I know it's a hard one to rectify because it's such a big area especially when you just want to get in, but if it's bad workmanship I'd be telling them you aren't happy and don't think they've done the tiles to an acceptable quality!

Yes we have definitely had a bit of a journey with our tiles! Kills us because it was something we were really looking forward to seeing in the house.
I don't have any close ups unfortunately as every time we have been there it has been for quite a short period.
Its more just that there is so many inconsistencies with it, the differences are everywhere and they have just done a general bad job really.
Will be having a very close look at PCI!

It was long haha but generally good I think!! Nothing major which is a plus. Putting it all up in a separate post now!
