Wow that looks way too short!! Is it an easy fix??

I hope so. They will have to break the rendered part at the top and lay a few layers of bricks and then get the render guy back to re-render the top part again.

Yay, our bricks are washed! Doesn't it look fantastic? It was well worth the upgrade

Brick envy! Love it
Looks like neat brick works as well.
Thanks Pearz! The brickwork is very neat. Although I did spot a fair few bricks which are chipped (as you would expect) so will ask our SM to get then replaced.

Hopefully it doesn't take too long and it's a quick fix!
Your bricks look amazballs woooow
Orpheus, your bricks look amazing. I remember you mentioned in an earlier post that silicone instead of grout will be used where the tile meets the skirting. Is this standard or an upgrade?

Thanks everyone. I can't wait for the external works to finish so the scaffold can be pulled down so I can see the full brick works!

KP, the silicon is not standard but our SM said he prefers it so will do it for our place. You should ask him for your house too.

Thanks. SM said ours is grout.

Start begging or buy him gifts?

What is advantage of silicon? Is it worth extra $ if we had to upgrade?

I think it looks cleaner and more lux than normal grout.

Thanks, Orpheus. Is there a difference in terms of durability or cracking?

We are in a brand new rental. And some of the grout has disappeared from the edging. So I think silicone is much more giving
