Thanks jelbell and tsmith, we did get the carpets through the builder but upgraded them when we met with carpet call to pick it and just paid the upgrade amount directly to them.

Paving update
The pavers have finally started! Definately shows the odd shape of our block now!

We also finally have our kitchen sink plumbed up

Cant be long now until we get the phone call!
Does anyone have and tips on what to look out for at PCI that you wouldnt of originally thought to look for?

You can also buy a checklist for $4 not sure if its needex.

But you need to go and look at everything. And bring a spirit level, a torch, a cloth to look for stratches on benches.

One thing l like in the article above is to run your feet or hands over the tiles to make sure that there are no sharp edges

Now with pci take as long as you need to...

Thanks jelbell and ohb! The sink is actually from masters, its the only one we found that was double bowl, had a draining tray and that could be undermounted. Looks so similar to yours ohb but it has a drainer on it which you cant see in this photo very well... thanks for your lovely comments

So today we received our PCI Date!

Not too much has happened this week other than the door handles have been installed now. Paving still isnt complete, hopefully the front painting will get completed next week

Congrats on the pci date! Don't worry about it to much hey, our SS did such a good job. He picked up a few things that needed to be fixed, and we struggled to find anything wrong. Everything is to a high standard!

We had PCI yesterday, only a few things here and there to fix and the painting to be completed. We should be able to organise to get keys sometime next week

We have booked to pick up our keys tomorrow at 3.30pm!
Not expecting everything on the PCI list to be completed, still a few things still to be done over the next week hopefully!
Our painters should be finishing up this morning, we went past last night before they did the second coat and really happy with our paint choices, will look even better now that the second coat is on.
Our extra pavers for the rest of the house should be delivered by the end of the week so the driveway crossover should be done by next week.
We have contacted our internet provider and they have started the connection to our house but couldnt complete it as the electrician hadnt connected the lead in conduit correctly as required so they are coming out today to fix that, we should have internet and tv by next week.
We will organise for the floor tiles to be delivered towardsthe end of next week and they should be installed over the long weekend.
I have bought all the curtain rods and fabric so will start hemming and putting those up in the next couple of weeks.
We are getting a custom double corner track in our master bedroom so that is being measured next week and hopefully installed in a months time.
We are also looking at tinting the front windows to our master for privacy and sun protection.
Lots to organise!
