B & D's First build with HGWA

I was saying the same thing the other day! I feel like I'm looking at someone else's house. Can't wait to drive there, put my car in the garage & actually stay at the end of the day, instead of being nosey through the windows & then driving back to another house all the time

Feels like everyone's builds are going so quickly! Hope you go alright with your super dee and that your tile meeting goes well tomorrow! I feel the same haha I feel like I am doing something wrong every time I'm creeping around the house for a peep
So the tile meeting went well, our supervisor was great and, thank goodness, was happy to let me move the lights position
.... Only catch is I have to mark them out myself
my partner is away atm, so I had to get tips from the sparkies at work on how to measure it out on the floor to make it easier...this will be amusing

Stoked with all of the tiles & they've brought in the tiler that does HG's displays, he was lovely & seemed to be really keen on detail, so excited to see it all come together now

We have a good sparky friend who explained how to do this buttttt my partner did all that... I wasn't really listening haha

Great about your tiles getting here finally!! Have they started to lay them?

Haha you sound like me! Managed to get it done today though... I didn't look ******* at all walking in as the sun was setting with my ladder and bag of stuff
I was trying to get it done quick, before someone called security or something

They started laying the tiles too, the tilers are taking heaps of care, it all looked perfect. We got both bathrooms mitred too (I had no idea what it actually meant at the time lol) but now I've seen it, so happy we did.... Lucky the tilers are good, because I was furious that they are smoking in the house & ashing all over the floors

Tiling finished this week, the ensuite feature wall is another month away, so HG are just going to go ahead with everything else that needs to be finished.

So happy with how it looks, the tiler did an amazing job, his grout lines are so small, and all of his cuts are perfect. He was telling me that were the worst tiles he's worked with
each one was literally covered in a layer of black dust, the poor guy was filthy
