How long from site cut to slab? I was told that SM would call today but no surprise that he didn't

Haha yeah all that time waiting for them just clear the grass hahahaha

Ours took about 5 working days. Our SM didn't call us at all. Hubby was the one who called him first, weeks after site start.

Yep, I figured that might be the case and we'll have to call him.
We are having private inspections done so SM needs to let us know prior to slab pour so that Darbecca can inspect.
Argh! I can see this is going to be painful, lol.

We never met our Slab SM @ all
Because we had Inspections we contacted darbecca with contacts of SM so they emailed him to inform them before pour. He pretty much contacted darbecca himself they did inspection, things were rectified onsite and it was over. Lol
However our next SM assigned we've met

I was given the SM's mobile, so I gave that to darbecca but they said to get back in contact with them to advise of the slab pour date. It would be so much easier if SM & Darbecca spoke directly.
I think I'll sort that out tomorrow.

Email your building coordinator and include your SM and darbecca. Letting them know that you'd like to be contacted before slab pour, because you'd like an inspection done. I did this and SM took up the task of contacting them directly, darbecca then rang me to say SM will be dealing with them directly so that was a hassle free first inspection.

Spoke to stage 1 SM today. Sounds like a nice guy.
We should have slab pour on 28/3 and frame delivery 31/3

How long did it take you to get here from when you handed it over to M to do the soil testing etc?

We handed over mid December....not a quick process

Oh no. I was hoping for 6-7 weeks.

I handed ours over this week and was hoping that we wouldn't be doing the frames in winter, but this might mean we have to now.
