M is going to fix it. But they have told porkies their plumber said it was not connected. M letter says its just broken. My 2 plumbers report says not connected and that they dated my certificate before a final inspection was even performed. And there is a pipe broken out the front.

I just need a few days to calm down before i get back to M between them f....wits, and my concretor falls under the same heading for his concrete work and mate the bricklayer.

Please everyone dont use Joe.

F......ing over it all.

Looking forward to tiling pics Gibson.

Hope all the problems are resolved quickly Sandra 2016, so you can start really enjoying your new home.

We've had windows installed, sand delivered and brickwork started.

Hi fisher75, the wording from bpb.nsw.gov.au is appoint, not necessarily pay. I would still speak to your certifier about the issues and if your not happy call the Building professionals Board of NSW as this will either pull the certifier into line or they can investigate. Dept of Fair trading isn't the right agency if your having issues and can't prosecute or disqualify a certifier but the BPB can and does. You can also check the website if your certifier has had rulings against them for misconduct etc.

Thanks Sevenths!

Just was wondering if anyone on this forum appointed their own certifier, not just signed a paper given by Masterton with certifier's name already typed in?
I love progress!!!

Beeprelude, that walk on the slab for the first time made it all start to feel real for me.

Congrats beeprelude. Agree with Gibson! Best feeling, don't be scared if it feels small once everything goes up from it you see the real proportion.

Gibson did they start the tiles yet?

Woo Hoo Beeprelude!
It's just awesome to see progress.

It's my birthday today, my favourite present so far is more bricks ...

And then we have today..... Pouring so they can't do the concrete part. Wahhhhh

How do you make a compliant to Masterton if customer service don't even respond anymore? And what's the number for maintenance as our very rude and pathetic ss told me I have to call maintenance after asking him for more than 8 months to get a painter in to fix the leaching merbau which was leaching at handover...and he's just ignoring me about this mixer tap body that he's missed. They ordered 3 of the 4. When I told him at the time he said he accidentally only ordered 3 and would fix it now he knows nothing about it. Funny that. I've only been SMS or calling him for 8 months about it

DO NOT BUILD WITH THESE CLOWNS.

Sorry to say it but- get used to it.

It doesn't get any better.

We have a slab!!!!

I give huge props to the guys that did our slab. They did such a great job in very tricky conditions. Will built a construction driveway that has been great so far, but with all the rain recently it didn't hold up with the concrete trucks. But the pushed on and did what they had to, to get it done.

Our frames are booked in to be delivered Thursday so we are on a mad dash to rebuild the driveway.

Beeprelude , it's always great to be slabbed. Here's to a smooth build for you

Yay beeprelude!

Seriously.
When will this flipping rain ease up ...

Hi everyone! We have been without Internet since we moved but today it's been put on! Sorry to see there are still quite a few dramas happening.
We have been in for over 2 weeks now. Dishwasher worked once and not again - service people coming Monday. Ducted air con hasn't worked yet, apparently request has been made to have whole outdoor unit replaced, two doors don't close (and they did at PCI), plus a few minor things but they'll wait til our 90 day! Our SS is still chasing things up for us and happy to do so, so we are very lucky! Love living in our house! So much space!

Hi everyone. We have been silent stalkers on here for the last 6 months or so. We had a quick question for you all? We've had a very streamlined and quick process thus far. We recieved confirmation today that our CDC has been approved with 27 days remaining in our contract tender. Peg out has been ordered and everything has been completed from our end without fuss or dramas. What do you think our chances are in reaching construction prior to this 27 days expiring? Also how does the price rise system work? My PCC has noted a payment of around $950 per month after this period. The PCC has said she see's no issue in hitting this point in time. I've read horro stories of $8000+ payments being due etc. Just some context we are building and house and land package up the NSW Central Coast. Your feedback is appreciated.

Scott and Renea.

Landscape & Garden Design

Hi all I am looking to run a water line under my concrete footpath which is directly next to my home, was seeing if this is possible without cutting the entire section…
