M is going to fix it. But they have told porkies their plumber said it was not connected. M letter says its just broken. My 2 plumbers report says not connected and that they dated my certificate before a final inspection was even performed. And there is a pipe broken out the front.
I just need a few days to calm down before i get back to M between them f....wits, and my concretor falls under the same heading for his concrete work and mate the bricklayer.
Please everyone dont use Joe.
Illegal step height
The concretors electrician efforts ffs
F......ing over it all.
Hope all the problems are resolved quickly Sandra 2016, so you can start really enjoying your new home.
We've had windows installed, sand delivered and brickwork started.
Hi fisher75, the wording from bpb.nsw.gov.au is appoint, not necessarily pay. I would still speak to your certifier about the issues and if your not happy call the Building professionals Board of NSW as this will either pull the certifier into line or they can investigate. Dept of Fair trading isn't the right agency if your having issues and can't prosecute or disqualify a certifier but the BPB can and does. You can also check the website if your certifier has had rulings against them for misconduct etc.
Thanks Sevenths!
Just was wondering if anyone on this forum appointed their own certifier, not just signed a paper given by Masterton with certifier's name already typed in?
It's just awesome to see progress.
It's my birthday today, my favourite present so far is more bricks ...
Sorry to say it but- get used to it.
It doesn't get any better.
We have a slab!!!!
I give huge props to the guys that did our slab. They did such a great job in very tricky conditions. Will built a construction driveway that has been great so far, but with all the rain recently it didn't hold up with the concrete trucks. But the pushed on and did what they had to, to get it done.
Our frames are booked in to be delivered Thursday so we are on a mad dash to rebuild the driveway.

When will this flipping rain ease up ...
We have been in for over 2 weeks now. Dishwasher worked once and not again - service people coming Monday. Ducted air con hasn't worked yet, apparently request has been made to have whole outdoor unit replaced, two doors don't close (and they did at PCI), plus a few minor things but they'll wait til our 90 day! Our SS is still chasing things up for us and happy to do so, so we are very lucky! Love living in our house! So much space!
Scott and Renea.
