Hi, I'm a first home owner, dh and I move next month. We starting out a bit lit in the day, we both just turned 40, but we're very excited about it all. Just wish someone had told me years ago that it really was possible to own your own home. I've been renting for twenty years - could have paid of my own home already and possibly have one or two investments as well! Oh well! We have two toddlers, a boy who is 1 and a girl who is 3. I have two teenage boys from a previous marriage - they live with their dad in north nsw. They are excited their mum has bought her own home, it gives them hope for their future that if their mum can do it then they will be able to! (I hope anyway).
Anyway! We've bought low for starters, didn't want to get too snowed under with repayments and so there is a little bit of cosmetic stuff to do so there's a few questions I'll be posing here in the hope someone will be able to show some light on them all.
